With excellent facilities in the YK Jestřábí area, a water area of almost 50 km2, and endless Šumava forests intersected with cycling paths, you will always have plenty to choose from. To make it easier for you to find, we offer a few verified tips.
We love families, and that's why we provide them with special care. Children have fun at the camp in any weather. To ensure that parents also enjoy their well-deserved break, we have a kindergarten for the little ones, sports and educational circles for school children, and for the older ones, more demanding sports circles, all right in the camp area.
Parents can choose from a wide range of sports equipment or boats in our LipnoNaplno rental, try unusual sports, go skating, sailing, or experience kiting. However, if you don't want to break the family group, we have a pedal boat with a slide, a sailboat, bikes for the whole family, including seats for the little ones, and much more available for you.
The countless options for excursions will surely be appreciated even by the most demanding family. The unique Šumava nature and the surrounding villages and towns are at your disposal. One of the most popular destinations is the castle in Český Krumlov or the ruins of the highest castle in Bohemia, Vítkův kámen, offering breathtaking views of the entire reservoir.

A brand new offering that we have prepared for you is the opportunity to book a scenic hot air balloon flight over the true gem of South Bohemia - Český Krumlov. The view that unfolds before you from the rays of the morning sun will take your breath away and leave an impression that few can match.
For fishermen, Lipno is like a paradise, and pulling out catches of up to two meters is not so rare. You can stay in a cottage in a quiet part of the area with facilities within reach. In the surroundings, you will find plenty of peaceful spots on the shore or in the reeds, or you can go fishing on a boat.

You don't have to travel far for a relaxing vacation by the water. The calm, clean water of the lake and the endless Šumava forests will give you plenty of energy. You can rent a boat or a paddleboat and head to quieter areas with a book or even a fishing rod. In the surrounding forests with dozens of kilometers of cycling paths and hiking trails, you can find the tranquility you need for a bike ride or a mushroom-picking excursion. You can also take a shorter trip to nearby villages and towns - perhaps to Český Krumlov, which will enchant you with its picturesque medieval atmosphere. If you can't resist more challenging sports and want to give your body a proper workout, you can visit our first-class new wellness center located in the basement of Lakeside Apartments.

The reservoir and the surrounding cycling paths, in combination with the LIPNO NAPLNO sports equipment rental, are an irresistible attraction that few can resist. You can try kiteboarding on water and land, wing, foiling toys, windsurfing, or even a ride on a catamaran, kayak, and other watercraft. If you want to experience fun that few other places in the country offer, hop on the aquaskipper, which will speed across the lake's surface at up to 27 km per hour, or try the surfbike or Manta5 hydroebike to show all your friends that you are true balance masters. You don't have to explore the cycling paths just on a bike—put on off-road skikes or hop on a streetsurf or an electric skateboard to have something exciting to talk about and show off at gatherings. Every evening, you can all meet on our observation terrace and boast about your extraordinary experiences with a mixed drink in hand. If you want to celebrate your achievements longer than just until the evening, the beach cocktail bar Windy Point is fully at your disposal, where you can dance into the night.

In a campsite and the surrounding area, entertainment is ensured practically for every weather. However, if you want to take a longer trip or have a program for the whole day, we have several tips for you on where to go for exploration, relaxation, or to challenge your body with a proper hike. Just under 80 km from MOLO Jestřábí, you will find the beautiful Šumava mountain Třístoličník, towering near Trojmezí, where the borders of Bohemia, Bavaria, and Austria have met since time immemorial. According to legend, rulers of the three countries used to meet on three stone chairs. In the itinerary of trips for exploration, unique places such as Soumarské rašeliniště, Medvědí stezka, the portal of the Schwarzenberg canal, or the waterfalls of St. Wolfgang and Vyšebrodský Monastery, as well as Čertova stěna, should definitely not be missing. The highest view will be from the highest mountain in the Czech part of the Šumava - Plechý, and you can also admire the beauty of the glacial Plešné lake. About an hour's drive southwest, or as the crow flies, just beyond the Austrian border, you have the opportunity to observe wildlife face to face. The Austrian WildPark Altenfelden offers an interesting spectacle. You can admire herds of fallow deer, wild boars, donkeys, birds of prey, various species of goats, and even kangaroos, monkeys, raccoons, zebras, or exotic birds. Such a trip will certainly be enjoyed, especially by children, as the park has demonstrations of feeding cheetahs or birds of prey.

Even though you enjoy exploring the surroundings, there are days when you just want to stay close to home. Not far from MOLO Jestřábí, you can test your skill and patience in mini-golf and have fun on a slide, the finish of which is just a few steps from the Lipno itself. For those seeking a more challenging and adrenaline-fueled experience, a beautiful Adventure Park is hidden in the treetops, where on various obstacles, up to 15 meters above the ground, you may question whether humans truly originated from monkeys. If heights make your head spin, you can calm your nerves on our observation terrace with a drink in hand or at the Windy Point beach bar. After sunset, you can enhance the evening atmosphere by watching a nice movie in the nearby open-air cinema. All of this is essentially a stone's throw away, just half a kilometer from MOLO Jestřábí. You can combine the pleasant with the useful and return to the camp in the evening after a demanding day with a walk under the moonlight and the sparkle of stars in the Šumava summer sky.
